Details
At 745 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 11 miles northwest of Crawfordsville, moving northeast
at 60 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Lafayette, Crawfordsville, West Lafayette, Shadeland, Dayton, Battle
Ground, Mulberry, Waynetown, Darlington, Linden, Colfax, New Market,
Clarks Hill, Waveland, New Richmond, Wingate, Alamo, Purdue
University, and Shades State Park.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 65 between mile markers 158 and 180.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 25 and 43.
