A slow moving low pressure system will impact central Indiana this
weekend with widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms
expected at times. Heavy rainfall will be possible due to
efficient rainfall rates from repeated rounds of storms,
primarily late tonight through Saturday night. Heavy rain may
result in quick rises on streams or creeks and localized flash
flooding.

There remains some uncertainty regarding where the heaviest axis
of rain will fall or exact rainfall totals. However, latest
guidance generally favors northern portions of central Indiana.
Some high resolution guidance suggest localized very rainfall
totals are possible, but varying solutions leads to lower
confidence in issuing a Flood Watch at this time.

Stay tuned for the latest forecast information. This outlook
means that elevated water levels and potential impacts are
possible, but not yet certain. Continue to closely monitor
forecasts including the possibility of flood watches, warnings,
and advisories.
