Wabash River at Lafayette.

Wabash River at Riverton.

Wabash River at Terre Haute.

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana…Illinois…

Wabash River at Montezuma.

Wabash River at Covington.

Wabash River at Vincennes.

.On the Wabash River…moderate flooding will continue at Montezuma
and Terre Haute through tonight…with otherwise widespread minor
flooding from Lafayette to Vincennes. Flooding is forecast to end
on the Wabash at Lafayette tonight. The main crest will be slowly
crossing Terre Haute through Saturday. Flooding will begin at
Vincennes tonight…with the main crest forecast to arrive Tuesday
night.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Wabash River at Covington.

* WHEN…Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, A few county roads begin to flood. Higher
bottomlands begin to flood. The first cottage upstream from U.S.
136 bridge may become isolated by high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 19.9 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 PM EDT Friday was 20.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Monday morning and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
