Details
At 1021 AM EST, an area of heavy snow was located along a line
extending from near Clifton to near Kentland to near Hanging Grove.
Movement was south at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this area of heavy snow.
Snow will arrive in central Indiana by 1100 AM EST. Rapidly changing
visibility will occur in short distances.
Locations impacted include…
Lafayette, West Lafayette, Delphi, Flora, Shadeland, Battle Ground,
Camden, Pine Village, Yeoman, Purdue University, Pence, Tab, and
Rainsville.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 173 and 184.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
