…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana…

Tippecanoe River near Delphi.
Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.
Wabash River at Covington.
Wabash River at Lafayette.
Wabash River at Riverton.
Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
Wildcat Creek near Jerome.
…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana…
Wildcat Creek at Kokomo.
Wabash River at Montezuma.
.Significant rainfall over the past several days has resulted in
widespread minor to moderate flooding along the Wabash River and
associated tributaries in north central and western Indiana.
Additional rain is possible at times through tonight. Please stay
advised of the latest forecasts and conditions through the weekend
into next week, especially those who live near waterways or other
flood prone areas.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE…Wabash River at Covington.
* WHEN…Until early Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Basement flooding begins in 10 to 12
cottages. The approach to new bridge downstream of SR 28 in
Attica floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 23.8 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Sunday was 23.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.3
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage early Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
